  Clips in Sync in Quicktime Player but Out of Sync In FCP

  Hey everyone,

  We’ve been running into a problem that (as best we can tell) is random. We’ll digitize in clips (DVCPRO HD 1080i60) and every now and then notice that they show up out of sync in Final Cut out of sync, but are in sync in Final Cut.

  We found we can sometimes fix it by recapturing the footage, or if we export the clip as a new QT and then bring it back into FCP it will be in sync, but we’d love to know what was causing it so we can avoid it in the future.

  Any ideas?
