  • Clips in Sony Vegas will not fade with each other?

Posted by Anoop Singh on May 6, 2016 at 1:44 pm

Please forgive me as I am a slight newbie, but I am not able to cross fade selected clips together.

For example, I can’t seem to make the ending of a clip fade with the beginning of another clip that are on the same timeline. I don’t know why but this never ever happened to me before and I have no idea why I am not able to do this.

Could someone please kindly help me?

    Thankyou,

    Solid-Snoop.

Under the Options menu, select Automatic Crossfade.
    The shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+x
    It’s also a toolbar icon.

Are you overlapping your two video events? The amount of overlap is the amount of time the two will be transitioning from Event 1 to Event 2.
