  Clip images disappear and magically reappear in Clips Window

  In the clip window the images of clips sometimes appear black in the poster boxes or the clip image appears. Can someone tell me what this could be? I am running IFinish 4.1 using a Compaq AP550 and I believe I have more than enough RAM at 1024MB. I reboot and the images still show black rather than clip images. Every once in awhile I turn on IFinish and voila the clip images reappear.
