    clip becomes shorter in FCP

    Hi,

    I tried to do search first, but found nothing helpful. When I import clip in FCP (PAL DV in mov container), it becomes shorter than it is. When I check it with QT Player, I can see all clip (about 1 hour), but in FCP I see only 23 minutes. Have you any idea how to fix it?

    But what that means, that the clip run faster in FC or that some stuff disappear?

    Has anyone found a solution? I have the same issue.

    MXF wrapped footage (canon xf305 captured via canon xf utility)
    FCP v6.0.6
    Clip is 2.1 GB and 5:12 in finder/QT
    Clip is 2:06 in FCP

    When I locate the clip in the project and select “Reveal clip in Finder” it directs me to the clip it is referencing and sure enough, it’s the appropriate length.
