Client viewing of 720 24P QTs
I’ve imported P2 720 24PN material into FCP and sent the Producer the resulting QuickTime wrapped files on data DVDs. He, unfortunately, doesn’t have FCP installed and cannot open the QuickTime files.
What do you recommend? Is there a way that he can acquire the DVCPRO HD codec for his QuickTime Reader? If not, what format is recommended to export the clips for optimal viewing on his Mac with out FCP, but with the latest QuickTime?

What is the producer doing with the clips???
Just for viewing you could export them out
as H.264 quicktimes….
You could also re-size them to
640×360 to decrease rendering time.
