Client request for 27GB video to compress to 1GB
A client is requesting Full High Definition video at 1920 x1080 60fps, because that is the best, then compress the footage to1GB, because it’s necessary for streaming.
Am I missing something here, or is this pointless?

I left out the video will be a little over 1hr 30min, continuous.

Why at 60fps? 1080 @ 60 is not a common mastering or delivery standard.
If the client needs it to be 1GB, then you have no choice but to compress it a massive amount. It will either be smaller, have a lower frame rate, or have tons of compression artifacts – or all 3. You can certainly stream videos with much less compression and be fine, but it really depends on target delivery system or internet speeds.

I disagree.
With H265 this should be very well possible.(and with long GOP codecs, the framerate does not matter that much.)
