December 9, 2009 at 8:31 pm[Alan Okey] “Does an uncompressed pixel go for the same rate as a ProRes pixel?”
I can’t answer that quite yet Alan…
I’m still working out an algorithm that takes into account the storage requirements per finished pixel multiplied by the coefficient of the data transfer rate and compression time.
When I’m finished I’m going to create a new rate card matrix that should provide an answer to that riddle.

December 10, 2009 at 3:10 amWe used to joke about a company whose slogan was “one pixel at a time” … we always used to make fun of how long it would take them…then we got into HD and they went out of business! 🙂 lol….
