Whe do I get a repetitive clicking sound in my audio when I make movies in AE? I’m creating movies from imported tif sequence files from Maya and using mp3 for audio files. I’m not adding any effects to the audio, and the audio is perfect outside of AE. My frame rate is 30fps.

mp3 can often cause problems in ae… you’re best off to convert them to wave or aiff.

if you want to try and troubleshoot the mp3 audio, make sure that the project settings (file>project settings) and the output module settings have the same sample rate as the mp3. if you select the mp3 in the project panel the info at the top of the panel should tell you the sample rate, make sure that all the other settings match that rate.

if that doesn’t help, try converting the mp3s to waves (or aiffs).
