I apologise if this has been asked a million times, but I was unable to
find any reference to it in my search. First off, I’m new to the
AVID Newscutter Adrenaline, having wet my feet (and sometimes my pants)
on a Discreet Logic Edit system.

Here’s what happens: I create a clip in After Effects, encoded as
Motion-JPEG-A Quicktime, best quality, with audio set at 48khz. It
imports into the AVID with no errors, but upon playback, the last frame
has a deafening CLICK. I suppose I can just cut off the offending
frame, but should this really be happening? Thanks in advance for your
help. I’ve also been told by a long-time AVID editor that this was a constant problem on the MC she used to work on.
