    I was recently working on a project on my laptop with After Effects 6.5 Pro on WinXP Home. My laptop crashed apparently with some blue-screen error and restarted. It rebooted fine but now every time I try to open After Effects, it gets to “Cleaning Up: Open3D GL” before locking up and freezing. The weird thing is that I didn’t even have AE open when it crashed. I was editing some video clips when it did. Might it have something to do with my video card? Which is an ATi Mobility Radeon 9600. Help!

    Check Adobe’s website, there is an update to 6.5.1 that fixes that same Open GL issue I had with my Nvidia card.
