  • Cleaning up background noise on whole sequence

I posted this on the STP forum but I’m not getting a response.

I’m editing a long series of on camera spokesperson dialogue shot in a studio with some unwanted AC background noise. My FCP sequence has about 20 individual clips. How can I set noise print and remove noise for this whole sequence at once without having to work on each clip separately? Thanks.

set in and out of the affected area on your timeline, then export —> audio to aiff. Clean it up, save, and re-import the new file.

Noise print/reduce is my biggest hope for FCP X.
