    I’ve got some video – 1280 X 720 at 60fps. I saw the tutorial on slow motion in Cinema Tools – and wanted to try it on this video. When I open the video I do not get the option to conform the video to 30fps – everything is grayed out.

    You haven’t mentioned but I guess your footage is GOP based (HDV, XDCAM or so).
    You can’t do it.
    You need to transcode it to any Intraframe format.

    Just run the footage through MPEG Streamclip. Export as ProRes 422 and make sure you uncheck the interlaced footage box. You can then conform that footage in Cinema Tools. But like Dave said…it’s important to conform to 23.98 or 29.97 rather than 24 or 30.
