Cinema Tools – 25p to 24p – can I just convert the 52min prog? not individual clips
I haven’t tried Cinema Tools before but have read it’s the best way to convert 25fps to 24 for the creation of a DCP file. I have a quicktime movie of the final program (52minutes) and was hoping to simply convert the whole program with a couple of clicks. From what I’ve read I need to go convert individual clips either in Cinema Tools or back to the original FCP timeline and convert each clip. Is that correct? It would be a nightmare if it is

Wrong information.
What a movie is but a long-long clip?
You can conform the who;e movie at once, but be carefull:
– Is a “destructive process”: no way back, so try on a copy.
– The movie will play a 4% slower, so some times will be noticeable the speed change in the audio.As I said, make a test on a duplicated file.

Thanks again Raf, good advice. I’ll make a copy. Do you (or anyone else) know of a basic cinema tools tutorial?- I’ve been looking but haven’t found anything yet.
By the way I’ve had a good time with the GH2 but I’ve found the inaccuracy of the flip out screen and the viewfinder disappointing. Cheers,
