Some footage was inadvertently shot in 24p advanced setting on our HVX200 in DV tape mode. I need to use the footage in a 23.98 sequence using FCP, but know matter what I do the motion in the video looks choppy. Using Cinema Tools, I can’t produce a clean 23.98 conversion using Reverse Telecine. When I choose the conform the video and audio slows. Does anyone have a solution, or know the proper settings in the Reverse Telecine options box?

Remove advacned pulldown should do it, or you can recapture using the DV remove advanced pulldown easy setup in FCP Hit control-q and select the show all box).

I tried both suggestions and the processed files still do not have smooth motion. Thanks for your response, but I’m at a loss.
