Was wondering if anyone can help…I’m having some very frustrating issues with a rigged model of a bird, on which I added hair. This all works perfectly apart from when a subdivision surface is added, as it has a strange checker-boarding effect on the specular of the hair – which causes those squares you can see. Strangely, when i press ‘update guides’ in the hair guides tab, the issue goes away, but only temporarily. If i move the rig again, the issue returns..
This issue is present in both Standard renderer and Redshift
