Hello all, I’m hoping someone can help me out with this urgent question.

I created a tunnel that travels underground with grass all around the interior of the walls. However my client is requesting there be random small clovers within the grass. What’s the best way to create these?

I’d like this to look realistic. I have photo textures if that helps.

    Thanks!

    Do you have MoGraph?

…or (possibly) Hair but MoGraph would be easier

I think I have MoGraph. I’m pretty sure it came with the Cinema 4D bundle we purchased, but I’m not sure how to use it. I’m a pretty quick learner if I have direction though. Think you could help?

You need to make a Cloner and put it in Mode/Object with Up Vector/None and Mode/Surface. MoGraph is really deep, you can do a lot by combining settings so there is no easy way to tell you, you have to do some tutorials and play with it to get a grasp of what it will do. Here’s quick example, the Seed value on the Cloner Object / Object tab is very important, I just scrolled it’s value until I got a distribution of the ‘clovers’ until they did not intersect each other.

Thanks for your help. I’ll go ahead and mess around with it.
