hey everyone…can you please let me know if there is any way to import cinema 4d models into after effects where they can be manipulated in 3d space there…is there any white papers that describe how to work with cinema 4d files in after effects…the videos on the cinema 4d site are too incomplete for my own knowledge…thanks!

search the archives for cinema 4D and you will find loads of info about integration .

the only way to manipulate 3D models in AE is to use a plug-in like 3D Invigorator – apart from that you can do all your 3D animation renders in Cinema4D and then export a multipass with camera data -then your AE camera will match up to the c4d one, and you can colour grade and manipulate the different passes separately. add 3D elements like text in AE and they will match up.
