cinema 4d 11, where’s the divide sequences option now?
I just got C4d 11 and I see the timeline has changed a bit. I know Sequences is gone, but there was a divide function under Sequences in the older c4d that would allow you to split tracks/f-curves between markers. I used this to have control over the f-curves for separate movements etc. Now it looks like you have to have a continuous f-curve and it causing me trouble. Is there a divide function in 11 or is there a new method for controling separate moves?

The simple way to do it would be to use step interpolation on the KF where you want the break. The more flexible way is to use the new NLA system (Animation>Add Motion Clip). There are some free tutorials at Cineversity that provide a good intro. to motion clips.

I will have to learn the motion clip method. I still wish i could just cut the the track into sections to isolate f-curves. The step interpolation still causes the f-curve to do strange things.
