    Hello all,

I wanted to created a Chromatic Aberration type look (sort of, similar to a prism thingy!) on a piece of footage that was originally shot in colour but has been turned into Black & White.

The closest example I can find is this music video, Blood Red Shoes for their single ‘Don’t Ask’:

Obviously the trouble I’m having at the moment is giving the edges a prism effect while the majority of the image stays in B&W. I can’t get it to work because if I break the footage down into separate RGB channels it can’t then be turned into B&W – I need a way of getting everything to work.

If there is anyone out there that knows how to do this in AE simply and without any need for extra plug-ins, I will love you forever!…that is if it’s even possible at all.

    Thanks for your help!
