Chroma Keyer question

Just like in photoshop, I delete background and save it as PNG, having a transparent background.
This way I don’t need to keep using chroma keyer effect cause I already deleted green background.

Yes, you can save the clip with an Alpha channel. This requires that you use a codec that supports 32-bits or that you render uncompressed using 32-bits. I like to use the QuickTime Animation codec when I need to preserve the alpha channel of animations that I make in After Effects. You can also use QuickTime to save as PNG using a compression depth of 32 bpp color and preserve the alpha channel as well.

You’ll have to create your own template. I have a tutorial on my web site on how to create an Avid DNxHD template for QuickTime. Just select PNG as the video format and you should be all set. Here is the tut:
