I am using FCP 5.0.4 on a Dual 2.7 G5 hooked up to an X-Raid. Every time I press play, the colors get more saturated and everything gets brighter in the canvas. I’ve had this problem before and don’t remember how I fixed it. I remember it being some kind of simple trick.

    try taking your overlays off.
    (safe title, timecode & luma)

Thought they might have fixed this “feature” by now.

I took off the overlays, (By Luma, do you mean Luma check?) It didn’t work. It’s really strange because I know I had this problem before, and I forget how i fixed it! All my stuff is updated too.

Just sounds like you’re not rendered to me.

In your sequence settings (apple-zero) make sure your video processing is set to YUV.

I am rendered, even the native video plays this way. I’m also in YUV 10 bit HD 1080p23.98. So there shouldn’t be any RGB
