    Hey guys,
I’m trying to reduce an hour long clip to around 30 seconds to produce a time lapse effect. I’ve been doing this by adjusting the speed/duration settings. When I adjust the speed (I have to increase it by around 8000%) the program freezes for around a minute as it digests the info, then everything appears fine except the clip doesn’t play back very smoothly. Am I doing something wrong? if I export my finished movie should I expect this choppiness in the final product or is it likely just a preview issue? Any help would be awesome…
    SPECS: Adobe Premiere Pro CS3

    500GB HDD
    NVIDIA GT230M 1GB graphics

    Cheers

It is likely your concern is just a preview problem. Simply press the Enter key to generate preview files.
