Alright working with Vegas 9.0c, I recorded some SD avi footage, nothing huge, and I want to add some magic bullet looks effects to it. Problem is, when I apply the effects the preview becomes choppy with less frames and isn’t viewable. Is this my computer’s lack of power or a setting that needs to be tweaked?

As long as you don’t give any specs on your PC, it is difficult to decide wheter your PC lacks sufficient power. However, MB Looks is known to be heavy for a PC and MB Looks does NOT make use of hyperthreading. So apart from previewing, that will also affect rendering time significantly.

    Benjamin,

Have you tried rendering a portion of your project? MB is very intense on most PC’s. I use it a lot.

Ya if i build a dynamic range portion (Shift+b) i can watch that section without any lag. So I guess its just something i have to deal with.
