    Hello,

I’m having an unusual problem that just recently popped up when I inserted footage I downloaded from a website. The original footage is from a DSLR camera and things ran fine until outside footage was inserted. It has also resulted in other projects running choppy playback, which makes it very, very difficult to edit. Any help will be appreciated.

    That’s unusual.
Premiere Pro is not supposed to do that, and even if it lags,it will only be on the project you have imported the video you downloaded from the internet to.

Check this, did you download from a trusted website not a website you found on google and try checking your CPU usage and GPU usage.
