I’ve got the new Mac Book Pro 15″ Retina with two USB ports and the Thunderbold. The needed/portable Panasonic P2 card reader requires two USB ports and is USB 2.0. The Sonnet Thunderbolt reader is much faster and will utilize the Thunderbolt port. I want to back this up on a hard drive and had initiall planed to use the Thunderbolt port for that. Anyone worked with the Sonnet and any opinions one way or the other? And which would be a better option for utilizing the Thuderbolt… as a hard drive connect or a reader connect?

    Thanks in advance.

Wait, I have a P2 reader, it only needs one USB port to work.
