choosing Kona card for multiple audio streams

Yes, via SDI the Kona LH can capture 8 channels of audio. 2 channels of Analog Audio.

If you’re setting up a new Mac Pro machine or a G5 Quad, you will require the Kona LHe model.

actually i need to have 4 channels on the output to an audio mixer

is this possible through any audio de-embedder as on output i need 4 seperate channels of audio to go to the mixer.

According to the specs it will output 2 channels of analog, but I know it can output 8 channels via SDI. Call AJA and they’ll definitely tell you how to set it up for the 4 channel output you need.

But yes, this can be set up. We output 4 channels all the time from our Kona 3 for mastering via SDI direct to the decks.
