What’s the benefit of creating multiple time lines versus one single time line with multiple chapter marks? Does the audio get affected when a player changes time lines?

For a simple scenario it doesn’t matter much which method you use (except for multiple clips on a single timeline being more prone to problems), but when you have multiple menus that are supposed to jump to a certain clip, having a separate timeline simplifies navigation. That audio part is completely irrelevant – if you jump into the middel of a long timeline you get just the same delay like when jumping to an individual timeline. In that case it doesn’t have any benefits if your audio is imported as a singel continuous strema and plays seamlessly.
