Chapter Markers messed up on DVD
Hi There – I realize that some of this has been covered in other posts, but I have yet to read the answer to the problem I seem to be having on this particular project.
I’ve had to go back and rework a project a couple times per a clients request, and now when I burn to DVD, when I skip to the next chapters, 3 and 4 (chapter 2 is fine), it goes to random spots on the timeline… These chapters work find in Encore Preview..
The main thing I’ve changed is the audio portion. I’ve replaced the M2a audio for wave forms for better quality and a timing issue. The video and audio was an elementary encode.
I have six video and audio assets, but only need 4 chapters. I have the chapter markers at the end of the assets, not in the middle.
What am I doing wrong? I also emptied the cache 🙁

I’ve found most of my fixes, with issues regarding chapters, are done in the properties while a chapter is selected. Are you using a chapter playlist by any chance?
Also, another work around, has been creating a completely new timeline and working with that. It helps sometimes.
