    I’m not totally sure what the correct terms are, but basically I need to know how to, for example, change a square thats split into four squares, back into one. I need to find out how to do the OPPOSITE to subdivide, so an object made up of however many squares, made into just one editable object. Hope that makes sense.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Can’t tell if it’s what you are looking for but there is Melt in the functions menu. It does not actually reduce the number of polygons (internally) it just makes the object simpler by making selected-connected polygons into an NGon
