    Hi,

I’m very new to Audtion..I’m trying to record my Roland XP 80 synth.

I can get this to work via the Line in 2/Mic input of my sound card (GametheaterXP) but not via Line in 1…I can hear the sound of my synth through the speakers on Line in 1…it just doesnt come through in Audition,.

Is there a way of changing the Line in setting within Audition..or have I got a problem with my line input on my actual sound card.

    Thanks.

    Matt, Australia.

    Matt,

At the left side of each track in the session side it has an “IN OUT” this lets you select the source that you want Audition to track from or playback to … To change a source just left click on the in and a list will come up just select the one you want to use and hit OK …I hope this helps ……… WILLIE

    Thanks Willie,

I actually managed to figure out the issue was within my sound card settings..I had to set it to receive input from the correct Line input. By the look of it Audition simply brings in just the entire input from the sound card.(or other source)..and lets the sound card settings be the thing that decides what comes in and out.

    Thanks for the tips.
