    Hi all..
How do I change the length of a still or movie clip with transitions at both ends without having to delete the transition at one end to grabb the handle and the reducing the clip …. this is not retiming as a still can’t be retimed using retime … just changing the duration because i can access the retime using command and R.

    Cheers

    Thanks for all your help

    Hello Anita Sancha

Grab in the middle of the transition on the two arrows pointing at each other at the end of the clip and drag the clip as long as you want it to be.

Ctrl D, then type in duration

FWIW you don’t have to delete the transition to drag out the duration either. You have to zoom in close enough, but there’s a grab handle at the upper portion of the dissolve that drags out the clip, not the transition.
