  • Changing the inpoint on multiple clips, or create handles on multiple clips.

I videotaped a party. I captured the footage and it separated into 81 clips. Now I’d love to be able to put in dissolves between all of them. I know I can put them in the timeline, select all of them and change the duration by a certain number of frames (say -15 frames), but that only affects the outpoint. Is there a way to do all 81 inpoints at the same time.

i.e. is there any way to create handles on multiple clips at the same time?

New party, same problem. Only now I have over 200 clips. I’d love to trim them all at once to create handles on all, but I don’t know how. Here’s the easiest method I know of so far. I put all the clips in my timeline and highlight all of them. Then I go to duration and reduce the duration by, say 8 frames, which trims the outpoint on all the clips. Then I put them back into a new bin, and I manually add “+8” to each clip’s input.

    Is there a better way????
