What is the editing frame rate going to be? if it is 29.97 and the 50fps is to be slowed to 29.97 then you have to speed up the music for playback so that you have sync at 29.97.

With a trusty calculator you can work out the speed difference and then use Compressor to make a sped up version. My quick calculation says 50 fps is 166.9% faster.

I understand 50 fps would be 200% sped up, but what would 30fps be?

If your edit rate is 25fps then yes 50 is 200%. So take your calculator and divide 30 by 25 and you get 1.2 . So 30 is 120% faster than 25. Make sure the camera is actually shooting true 30 fps and not 29.97. If 29.97 you can get a more accurate %.

    Actually there’s a problem.

By speeding up the track, the singers voice sounds like the chipmunks, which is not good.

Is there a way to change the speed so this doesn’t happen?
