  • Changing the anchor point of Title (PPRO 2)

Posted by Nathan Quattrini on April 10, 2007 at 3:56 pm

I made a text bubble and want to adjust its anchor point to its center, but Premiere is automatically setting its anchor point to 720,480 and it doesn`t actually SHOW a point. So when I try adjusting with the sliders it just randomly slides around and I can`t tell where the actual anchor point is. Is there an anchor point tool like AE so I can just click the center of the bubbles and make that the anchor point?

Go to the Effect Control Panel with the title clip selected on the timeline.

drop the “Motion” menu down so you can see the settings and you will see the “Anchor Point” setting.

Before adjusting the anchor point setting, click on the little box just to the left of the word “Motion” at the top. This will show the corner pins and the anchor point in the Program Sequence overlay window and you will be able to see the changes.
