Changing tape ID?
Posted by Scott Davis on April 25, 2008 at 2:43 pmI captured some material with the wrong tape ID. How do I change it after the fact?
Thanks,
Scott

I believe when I’ve done this I’ve been able to Modify the Source without having to unlink first (some other clip modification do require unlinked clips – such as altering tracks).

This must have been what I was thinking about. I know you have to unlink to modify something! Makes sense that the media won’t relink, though, if you unlink and change the tape. It’s one of the things Avid looks at when relinking.
