Changing space between lines in Vegas titles
Posted by Michal Bronec on March 29, 2012 at 2:07 pmIs there some function for this? I know I can just press enter, but than the space between the lines is too big for me.
My secondary question: what is the most used font for end subtitles?

March 29, 2012 at 2:56 pmI don’t know what title option you are using, but look for a “leading” option, it changes the space.
My guess would be a Helvetica based font like Arial or Verdana.

March 29, 2012 at 3:44 pmThanks, I will look at it. BTW, I heard Antique Olive is good font for end titles… so I installed it, restarted Vegas, but I cant see it in Vegas subtitler (I can see it in Word etc., but I cant see it in Vegas).

March 29, 2012 at 3:55 pmLeading is definitely what you want.
On the font issue, restart your computer and see if that helps.

March 29, 2012 at 4:30 pmOh, I can see it in Vegas titler pro (I used “insert text media function” before). BTW, I cant see New Blue titler Pro in media generators of Sony Vegas 11, weird.

April 2, 2012 at 9:05 pmIn the basic titler, you can simply insert a blank line, then change its font size to something smaller that gives the desired vertical spacing. Of course, this is not great if you need to space out lots of lines…
