  Changing sensor size + adapting C mount lenses to D7000

  Hello creative cows,
  I’ve seen others ask questions like this but never this one:
  regarding adapting C mount lenses to an F mount mirrored system, i understand there’s a lot of ridiculous macro action, and read some posts talking about how sensor size also doesn’t help because said cropped sensor is larger than 16mm negative.
  If, while shooting video, I chose 640 x 424 quality, would that actually shrink the sensor size and help lens usability (wider depth of field perhaps), or would it just squish the full size sensor to crappy quality macro footage?
