  • Changing leves to multiple Audio Clips?

    Hello,

I am prepping a bin with a bunch of music clips in it. I have to change the levels to -20dB on all of the clips. Is there a way that I can do it to all of the clips in that bin? Or do I have to go one by one to change the levels?

    Thanks

Nope. It’s been requested a lot (I’ve requested it several times on the Avid Feature Request Forum), but it hasn’t happened yet.

Your options are to lower each one individually, or you can drop them all into a sequence and lower the first one -20db then apply it to the entire track, then either load that sequence into your source monitor and cut from it there, or subsequence each music track out and load them individually into your source monitor.

Hopefully, one day, we’ll be able to globally apply level changes in the bins, but not yet.

    Michael.

I was afraid of that. Is there a way to request this of Avid for future versions?
