  • Changing keyframes to center of shape instead of outline ?

    Hi everybody,

I’m looking for a way to basically change the path keyframes of a shape to the center of this shape, instead of its stroke (outline).

Imagining that we have a circle, defined by 4 keyframes on its outline, the new path would be a straight line (in this case), and i guess it would either have a stroke style applied, or each keyframe would have a different stroke width to obtain the initial shape (which would require a lot of keyframes, but i don’t care).

I don’t know if i’m clear enough, but i think i saw something like this on the net one day, and was stupid enough not to bookmark the page. This process, if done in an automatic way, would be a really powerful instrument for me (associated with Livetrace and AE…hmm!)

    Can anyone help ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Charles.
