changing connected files names!
hello all.
i don’t know if it write to post this issue in this forum. but i thought there will be here a lot of people who maybe had similar problem as min.
the problem is we are working in 2 deferent countries on one a feature projects, they sent me the hard disk with the whole files on it”movies, picture,Fcp projects and sounds”. the problem is while the other country have deferent alphabetic characters and didn’t use english as a main language to name the files there is a lot of sound files the not readable for our sound designer,
so i will start to change the whole other language names and make them in english.
so the problem is that we are always sharing XML between us. so if i changed names here it will stay there as it was and the XML will not work in a right way. so is there an trick to use script editor or something similar to record what i am doing in finder with the files and then send it to them that thy open it and have the same changes?
i hope i was clear on my problem and any reply will help us a lot.
