  • Changing color of subject – arm giving blood

I am doing a project where my arm was shot while having some blood drawn. The object was to show only the needle and blood vial and not my arm. The person we are doing this for is much lighter than I. I told them I would do this only once! Now, I need to know if I can change the color of the arm without affecting the other objects in the shot, mainly the blood going into the vial.

    Thanks for your help.

I would try a hue/sat. adjustment layer, but you will still need to mask the layer to only your arm, but if there’s not much movement then it should be fairly easy, lol well maybe not easy…

Well first try to key off the color of your arm. Use a color key to grab the flesh tone and dial in the controls to isolate just your arm colors. Then use the mask on an adjustment layer with your favorite color controls.
