Changing character appearance as if by magic
Hi there,
I’m doing a shoot tomorrow which requires the main character to change clothes instantly, as if by magic, whilst he speaks. I have done a similar effect with still characters by filming the character in one outfit, then getting him to change outfits and get in the exact same position. I would make the ‘magical’ transition by cutting the two shots of him standing still and blending them with a cross dissolve.
However, in this piece the character is sat at a table talking so there will be face and hand movement. How would I go about getting this effect?
