Changing Capture Settings?
I’m using Premier 1.5 (Yes I not it is old, but that’s what I have)with a Blackmagic MultiBridge Extreme to capture.
My problem is even though I set the Blackmagic Preferences to capture DV/DVCPro25 (and it does when I capture using the BlackMagic Controller). When I try to capture in Premier it will only capture at an 8 Bit Uncompressed setting.
Any ideas on how to capture at DV quality in Premier using the BlackMagic?

DV is 8-bit. Uncompressed is higher quality than to DV.
Sounds like you’re set.? Unless you’re having issues with uncompressed file sizes?I do find it odd that there is no DV capture. Perhaps you can update a driver or something, for your BlackMagic.
Maybe look in your project settings, under DV Device (I can’t remember exactly right now).Vince
