Activity Forums Adobe After Effects changing blending modes

I’ve never been one who is completely sure which is the best blending mode to use without first trying out a few to see how they look. Often If I have time I also find myself trying all the blending modes in case some unexpected cool effect can be achieved.

In Photoshop one can scroll through the blending modes list very quickly seeing how each mode effects the image. My question is if there is any way to do this in After effects as it would speed things up if one didn’t have to navigate the list each time.

    Thanks
    Graham

Shift+ – (hyphen) or Shift+= (equal sign) on the main keyboard

There is a list of all AE keyboard shortcuts here. Have a look through it. I’m sure you’ll find a new shortcut to love each time you do.
