changing audio bit depth
Howdy,
I have a project with a massive amount of clips. Most have been captured at 24bits, and some at 16.
When these are mixed in a timeline, the audio is a little out of sync and I believe this is the reason.
Does anyone know if it’s possible for me to change the bit depth within FCP or anywhere else without changing the video information in said clip?
If it was just a few clips I would recapture, but we’re talking a lot of clips.

These clips are actually finished commercials for historical reel. Most of the spots are

Config Stereo DownmixYou’re right in my assumption that it was the bit depths, but I guess it could be something else as well.
I have a KONA capture card and I’m judging sync on my computer monitors, not my video monitor.
Do you need any other info?

Judging sync? Are you saying that that the viewers in FCP aren’t accurate?
