I need to remove 3 sec. from every start time of a clip in my bins. In Avid I would select all clips and modify –> decrement. How would I go about doing the same thing in FCP? I know how to do it to one clip at a time but I need to do this on a couple hundred clips.

    Thanks.

I don’t believe FCP has a feature like that. You can try exporting a bin list and maybe doing it in Excel or something.

I believe Automator was designed for chores like these, no?

    Here’s a tutorial:

    Hope it works, good luck!

Not the elegant solution I wanted but a solution none the less.

    Thanks Mark.

    I’m sorry, but you’re welcome 😉

    Screw it, let’s do it!
