    Hi there,

A colleague and I are always sharing files & sequences between one another.

Most of the time it works flawlessly, but we’re in a situation where he has made a small modification to the name of the proxies he’s using
and now I’m having to go through and link over 200 individual files.

Is there a way to open his project [in Prelude or Bridge or whatever], and change his file names to match the ones I have on my machine,
    so I can auto-relink them?

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks in advance,

    .

Winsome File Renamer is a wonderful tool for mass-renaming of files.

    Thanks Steve,

But what I need to do is change the file names INSIDE PrP, so that the clips on his sequecne
match the files on my drive. That way I can relink automatically.

PS – I’m on a Mac, and recommend Name Mangler to do bulk renaming of files [before they go into the NLE].
