Change the default file type with importing
I am importing mpg2 files into my Vegas movie studio 9.0b and previously would try to import 5 files at a time to go faster. This may be the reason my program crashed after I got to 100 clips. The file sizes are up to 25 mb each. I am now trying to do it 1 at a time but is there a way to default the file type drop down to be mpg2 files only vs All media files?

Where are these files coming from? A 25GB MPEG2 file is HUGE!
There is no reason to use the import menu at all. Just drag and drop the files from Windows directly into the Project Media bin.
