    Hi,

We have a problem with the MOV files.

We did an ingest using PictureReady in PAL and by accident the timecode track was added as NTSC framerate.

Now I have a reference file with video and audio in separate files and Video track has a framerate attribute of 29.97 when in fact it was recorded as 25fps.

QUESTION: Is it possible to change a frame rate setting of MOV file from 29.97 to 25 without doing any modifications to the video stream – i.e. not removing or blending unneeded frames.

What pops into my mind is exporting to TGA’s and reimporting back. But this needs a huge amount of storage and time (I have 5 hours of material).

    Thanks a lot,

    Darius

    Hi,

After some googling I found this easy solution:

In short it is like this: create a new Cinema Tools database, open up a clip and press Conform button.

    Thanks anyways. 🙂

    Regards,
    Darius

    Even easier,
Change the frame-rate in QuickTime Pro.

    Cheers
