    Hi There,

I have a question about using an existing mp4 in a AE comp.
Ik want to dbuy this file: https://videohive.net/item/black-lines-and-dots-clean-background/16910801

The dots and lines are black. But I want to turn these lines and dots into white and put the on an orange background. But how can I turn this mp4 in a way that the dots and lines are white and are moving on the orange background?
    Can someone help me?

Or is there a website where I can buy such animations where I can adjust the colour easily in AE

    Thx in advance?
    Ed

Because the video is black and white you can simply invert it (effects/channels/invert). This will make the lines white on a darkish background. Put that layer over an orange solid. use a screen blend function on the media file layer. You may have to add a color correct (levels effect perhaps?) to clean up the “fog” in the media files background.
Also try double up the media file layers – basically hitting the element twice over top of the orange. It will help reinforce the thin lines.
